About Me

Coaching with Integrity
I took voluntary redundancy from my Area Operations Management role mid-career when I began my own career transition journey. Whilst it was exciting being able to complete my Institute of Leadership and Management Coaching and Mentoring qualification, it was an unsettling time, as I wondered when and where I would find a new role. I do believe that it would have been so much more positive if I had had a career coach to support my journey!

Having had experience recruiting and managing customer service and programme management teams, I transitioned into a Learning and Development lead role. Working alongside human resources personnel, I supported the performance management of staff, identifying organisational business solutions as well as coaching and delivering training. I was also accredited as an Insights and Thomas International Psychometric Coach supporting people to identify their strengths, development areas and motivations. I never imagined that I would be arranging learning and wellbeing events for over 400 staff, but I'm a great advocate of recognising those unrealised strengths waiting to be uncovered!
Coaching and mentoring gives people a space to collect their thoughts, challenge their own assumptions and develop their career potential. I enjoy it so much that I volunteer as a coach for organisations such as the South East Coaching Network. I am also a facilitator for the Association of Coaching's Co-Coach forum in Tunbridge Wells, where I am able to lead and learn with my peers. I adhere to the Association of Coaching’s Code of Ethics. Throughout my career, I have shortlisted, recruited and inducted staff which has given me an employer's perspective on application processes. My work as Vice Chair of Governors included inducting new Governors and successfully recruiting a Head Teacher. In 2026 I became a Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner, following six months of study, which has given me additional tools to support my coaching.
