Coaching with Integrity
Following certification in Coaching and Mentoring with the Institute of Leadership and Management, I moved from an operational management role to a learning and development position. Working alongside human resources personnel, I supported the performance management of staff, gained recruitment experience and became trained in the delivery of psychometric tests. The best part of all my roles has been coaching and mentoring staff, giving them a space to collect their thoughts, challenge their own assumptions and develop their potential. In fact I find it so rewarding, that I volunteer as a coach on both the TeachFirst Scheme and South East Coaching Network. My delivery on Talent Development Schemes ensures I keep up to date with the latest management theories and influencers. I regularly participate in coaching forums continually developing my practice keeping up to date with career development and other aspects through my networks, reading, listening to podcasts and event attendance.
